Agrintel, optimized process control

The Conselleria of Industry, Trade and Innovation is supporting the project 'Agrintel' research and design of an intelligent system monitoring real-time optimized control of the winemaking process. This is an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and an array of sensors to obtain more precise information on the status of crops, climate, soil, sources have told the Government.

Thanks to this project will carry out monitoring and real-time analysis of the variables that influence and determine the evolution of the wine making process along the food chain to perform an optimized control of the process to take the best decisions at appropriate times in order to improve the competitiveness of the sector.

The 'Agrintel' has been applied multispectral vision technology through unmanned flying devices at low altitude, the creation of advanced sensor network units, creating a platform Intelligent integration of data and the creation of an integrated service platform Mash up to the visual and integrated data.

The prototype integrates a set of sensors that collect a large volume of data collected through the air, land cultivation, the plant's own life and the climate of the area.

This project has a total budget of 1,841,170 euros, of which the Consell contributes about 700,000 euros, 40% of the investment and is part Cooviñas Coop., Coop. Valencian Country Our Lady of the Vineyards and Technology Civera companies, Galileo Geosystems, Xop Physics and Informatics Services Servitec. The project also includes the participation of the Instituto Tecnológico de Informática (ITI ) and the Technological Institute of the food industry ( AINIA) .
